Quality in organisations at a new level
More than one million organizations have already implemented the quality management system according to ISO 9001. This standard is mainly associated with large companies, but it is worth knowing that it is a universal system that can be implemented in any organization, regardless of size, nature of business or location.
ISO 9001 is a standard established by the International Organization for Standardization, so it is recognized and appreciated worldwide. This is of great importance when the organisation is active on the international stage.
ISO 9001 update
The ISO 9001 standard was developed many years ago and has been updated due to the dynamic changes in the business world. The new standard distinguishes itself primarily by its different structure. It shall be amended in accordance with international guidelines. The main assumptions remain unchanged, but have been adapted to new conditions, e.g. for service products. The updated system is very focused on the importance of risk, risk assessment and management. In the amended rules, we can also notice a greater emphasis on defining the context of the organization, as well as the involvement of top management in issues related to quality. It is worth recalling here that efficient operation of the quality management system requires good understanding of the system by employees at all levels. In order to properly prepare your staff, it is worth taking advantage of the quality management training.
Employees responsible for quality management
Of course, it is worth noting that the quality in a company is influenced by all those who create it. It must be admitted, however, that the most important for the condition of the quality management system is the presence of several employees, such as: Quality Management Representative, Internal Auditor, Management Plenipotentiary for the Integrated Management System or other specialists in the quality management department. In particular, those carrying out the above mentioned functions should benefit from quality management training in order to perform their duties well.
